Actually, been wanting to post this in February but the cook had an accident and broke him arm. Ended didn’t cook for several weeks. I think they should open by now.
I haven’t been blogging about food for awhile. So, here goes…
The week before Chinese New Year, a friend took us to this shop. Actually, this shop belongs to a colleague’s parents. So we went to try the food and also to give support. I guess for Kepong folks, this shop does not need anymore introduction as I could see almost every table is ordering the same dishes.
The must have dishes are as follows:-
Buttered fried tilapia
Hak Cheong Yao Far Lam (Crispy fried chicken in black sauce – it actually tastes like pork lard!)
Egg tofu with minced pork and salted vegetables
The other dishes we supposed to try, I think it’s salted egg sotong. I guess this warrants a second visit.
